On your first visit to discuss Invisalign treatment, we will do comprehensive examination of your teeth before discussing what you would like to achieve and whether you are a suitable candidate.

We will give you all the necessary information you need to decide whether Invisalign is the right course of action for you. If you choose to go ahead, we will send your impressions and photographs along with a detailed set of instructions for production to invisalign lab.

Invisalign® uses advanced 3D computer imaging technology to transform your impressions into a series of custom-made clear and removable aligners. There may be as many as 50 in the series or as few as 12, depending on your treatment needs and complexity.

It usually takes a few weeks for Invisalign lab to produce the aligners and send them back to us. As soon as we receive them, you’ll be invited back to have the first aligner fitted. Your dentist will advise how to wear and care for your aligner and give you additional sets to wear before you return for review appointment.

You’ll wear each set of aligners 24×7 for about one week, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. Total treatment time averages 9 to 15 months but will vary depending upon case complexity. You’ll visit us only about every four weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.

When you’ve finished wearing each aligner in the series, your treatment will be complete, and you will have the beautiful smile you’ve always wanted. To ensure that your perfect new smile stays this way, you’ll wear retainers 24×7 except while eating, drinking and brushing for the first six months and then as instructed by your dentist. You can now smile in confidence knowing your teeth are perfectly aligned.
